Menopause Treatment

MenopauseMenopause is a natural phase in a woman’s life, typically occurring in her late 40s to early 50s, when her menstrual cycles permanently cease due to a decline in ovarian hormone production. It is marked by the end of fertility and usually follows a transitional phase called perimenopause, during which hormone levels fluctuate. Common symptoms of menopause include hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, sleep disturbances, and vaginal dryness, although the experience can vary greatly from person to person. Menopause can also affect bone density and cardiovascular health, making it an important time to focus on overall well-being. While it’s a biological milestone, it also represents a new chapter in a woman’s life, often offering opportunities for growth and self-discovery. At my OB/GYN we help you navigate this difficult problem that can affect every day of life. We listen, search for the problem and help you solve it. This really isn’t a problem that you have to live with.
